Block B Match Of The 2023 G1 Climax
IWGP Tag Team Champion Yoshi Hashi (0) vs. El Phantasmo (0)

Yoshi Hashi hits Headhunter before El Phantasmo hits a brainbuster. Yoshi Hashi hits a basement dropkick on the knee and Yoshi Hashi hits a flip dive to the floor then a top rope blockbuster then goes for a cover but ELP gets to the ropes.

Phantasmo hits a Northern Lights Suplex for a near fall then a Lionsault for a near fall then ELP put Yoshi Hashi on his shoulders and hits a swinging neckbreaker then Thunder Kiss 86 for a near fall before they traded rollups for near falls.

Phantasmo hit an enzuigiri then Yoshi Hashi hits a clothesline and was fired up before he hits a Crucifix Takedown driver for the win.

Strong Openweight Tag Team Champion Gabriel Kidd (0) vs. Chase Owens (0)

Gabriel Kidd attacks Chase Owens from behind with a chair at the top of the ramp then they brawled down the ramp and into the crowd. Kidd turns toward the Young Lions security guards and slaps each of them.

Kidd ran and leapt off the ramp and onto Owens and the security guards before they have made it to ringside. Kidd leaned over by Kevin Kelly and jaws on commentary.

Owens hits a Saito Suplex but he couldn’t get the Package Piledriver. Kidd hits a clothesline and a brainbuster for a near fall then he spit on Owens before Owens hits a half nelson suplex and a C Trigger then the Package Piledriver for the win.

Block B Match Of The 2023 G1 Climax
Kenta (0) vs. Tanga Loa (0)

Match starts off with a lock up before Kenta stalls on the floor so Tanga Loa follows him and they brawled on the floor. Kenta hits a dragon screw on the floor and Loa immediately collapsed to the floor and clutched at the knee. Kenta immediately began stomping on it and targeting it.

In the ring Kenta places the leg on the ropes and hits a dropkick on the knee and Loa was writhing in pain on the mat. Loa hit a swinging side slam out of nowhere and they were both down. Loa hit a German suplex then a Falcon Arrow for a near fall before the ref got bumped. Kenta hits a DDT and they were both down.

Kenta got a chair and hit Loa in the gut then two shots over the back and then he hits a chair shot across the right knee. Loa hits a clothesline to the back of the head before the ref was back up. Kenta got a roll up with his feet on the ropes for a near fall.

Kenta hit a low blow with the ref out of position then a spinning back fist before Loa hits a spear before Apeshit gets the job done.

Shota Umino (0) vs. Ren Narita (0)

Shota Umino & Ren Narita immediately traded forearm shots before Narita hits a Helluva Kick then Umino hits a basement dropkick before Narita applied a leglock on the mat before switching to a Figure 4.

Nartia began targeting the left knee. Umino hits a diving European uppercut then a fisherman’s suplex for a near fall then a top rope missile dropkick and he locks in an STF but Narita reached the ropes.

Umino hits elbow strikes to the side of the head. Narita hit a leg lariat and they were both down before Narita hits a northern lights suplex with a high bridge for a near fall. Umino hits a swinging faceplant then another, then a side slam for a near fall.

Umino hit a flying forearm and a slingshot DDT. Narita hits a head capture suplex and they were both down before Narita hits another northern lights suplex for a near fall and he applied an ankle lock on the mat and he turned it into a Sharpshooter before Umino eventually reached the ropes.

Narita hits a Mafia Kick before Umino hits an exploder suplex then a German suplex. Narita hits a German suplex then both men stumbled to their feet. They hit simultaneous slaps to the face and collapsed and they got up and traded forearm shots. Narita hits an enzuigiri.

Umino hits a dropkick then a tornado DDT then Ignition gets a believable near fall before Umino hits a spike DDT for a near fall then Narita avoids Death Rider and he locks an Octopus Stretch before Narita hits a German suplex for a near fall. Umino hits a pop up punch but the bell sounded before he could go for a cover.

Block B Match Of The 2023 G1 Climax
NEVER Openweight 6 Man Tag Team Champion Kazuchika Okada (0) vs. Great O Khan (0)

Match starts off with some mat reversals with Great O Khan working the right arm. He hits Mongolian Chops then they got up and traded forearm shots and Kazuchika Okada hits a flying back elbow then a DDT and a flapjack for a near fall & as O Khan sat on the top turnbuckle Okada hits a dropkick sending O-Khan tumbling to the floor.

Okada whips him into the guardrail then Okada nails a DDT onto the thin mat on the floor then in the ring O Khan hits Sling Blade and they were both down. O Khan hit a series of Mongolian Chops to the shoulders then a gutwrench suplex for a near fall.

O Khan locks in Sheep Killer then bends Okada backward over his knee and he got a near fall. Okada fired back with a German Suplex, then his dropkick to the face then a Falcon Arrow.

O Khan avoids Rainmaker and he applied a Claw to the face and he turned it into a suplex for a near fall before Okada nails Rainmaker to put O Khan away.

Block A Match Of The 2023 G1 Climax
Yota Tsuji (0) vs. Kaito Kiyomiya (0)

Yota Tsuji dove onto Kaito Kiyomiya on the floor to start the match then in the ring Tsuji hits a backbreaker over his knee and he stomps on Kiyomiya and was in charge early before Kiyomiya began targeting the left knee and he wraps the leg around the ring post.

In the ring he hits a 2nd rope flying forearm for a near fall then a dropkick. Tsuji hits a Stinger Splash then a hurricanrana then a bulldog powerslam for a near fall. Kiymoiya hits a basement dropkick on the knee then a dragon screw and he applied a Figure 4 but Tsuji makes it to the ropes.

Kiymoiya hits a top rope missile dropkick then a German suplex for a near fall. Kiyomiya hits a roaring forearm before Tsuji hits a headbutt and they were both down. Tsuji hits a superkick and a Blue Thunder Bomb for a near fall.

Kiyomiya hits a mid ring hurricanrana for a near fall then a jumping knee to the shoulder. Kiymoiya nails a Tiger Suplex for a near fall before Kiymoiya flips Tsuji and hits a powerbomb then a Shining Wizard for the win.

Champion vs. Champion Block B Match Of The 2023 G1 Climax
KOPW 2023 Champion Taichi (0) vs. United States Champion Will Ospreay (0)

Taichi & Will Ospreay immediately traded forearms and chops. Taichi hits a Mafia Kick that sent Ospreay to the floor. Ospreay whips Taichi into the guardrail before they went over the guardrail and brawled among some empty rows of chairs.

Back in the ring Ospreay hits a springboard forearm for a near fall as Ospreay was in charge now by stomping on Taichi and loudly swearing then he hit a backbreaker over his knee for a near fall. Taichi hits some chops but he was exhausted and they didn’t have much impact.

Ospreay hits a kick to the spine then a brainbuster for a near fall before Taichi hits a kick to the ear and Ospreay was wobbly as he stumbled trying to climb the ropes. Ospreay hits a forearm to the back of the neck before Ospreay hit a series of Kawada Kicks but Taichi fired back with a roundhouse kick that drops Ospreay and Taichi removes his breakaway pants.

Ospreay hits OsCutter for a near fall but he misses Hidden Blade so Taichi immediately hit another kick to the ear. Ospreay nails Hidden Blade for a near fall but Taichi grabs the ropes. Ospreay set up for Storm Breaker but Taichi escaped and got a Gedo Clutch for a near fall.

Ospreay nails another roaring elbow before they fought on the top rope in the corner and Taichi hits a top rope back suplex then a clothesline and he was fired up. He hits another back suplex for a near fall before Ospreay hits a back suplex.

Ospreay set up for a Hidden Blade again but as he charges Taichi hit a superkick then Black Mephisto to get the win.

Non Title Block A Match Of The 2023 G1 Climax
IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Sanada (0) vs. Hikuleo (0)

Sanada got an O’Connor Roll for a near fall just seconds in before they brawled to the floor, where Sanada shoves Hikuleo back first into the barricade then in the ring Hikuleo hits a massive back body drop for a near fall.

Sanada hit a dropkick to the knee then a dropkick that sent Hikuleo to the floor, and Sanada hit a plancha then back in the ring, Hikuleo hits Snake Eyes on the top turnbuckle follow by a clothesline and a brainbuster for a near fall.

Sanada hits a suplex but he misses a moonsault. Hikuleo hits a bulldog powerslam for a near fall then Hikuleo hits a swinging powerslam before he sets up for a chokeslam but Sanada escapes and Sanada hits a Shining Wizard for a near fall.

Sanada went for a hurricanrana but Hikuleo caught him and nails a standing powerbomb for a near fall then Sanada hits Deadfall out of nowhere for the win.

After the match Sanada got on the mic and noted that both he & Just 5 Guys teammate Taichi won their matches. Taichi joins Sanada in the ring, carrying his KOPW 2023 Title. Taichi spoke on the mic and said it had been a while since he won in his hometown.
