AEW star Orange Cassidy spoke with Fightful about various topics, including the differences between The Conglomeration and Best Friends.
Cassidy said, “A different type of reliability. Because when I was with Trent and Chuck, was a different type. That was a friendship that we had for a very long time. I think friends came before partners. Here, it was like, they were my enemies. Like Kyle debuted in AEW and kneed me in the back of the neck to have Adam Cole win. Like Roddy took my International title from me. These are guys that were my sworn enemies, and then when you get to understand who they are as people, we bond over things that have happened to us, and then you realize that like, ‘Oh yeah, I can rely on Roddy and Kyle a different way than I could rely on my other friends.’ I just thought of that all on the spot too. Isn’t that crazy? I had to stop myself. I was like, ‘Stop talking because you’re done.’”
