Season Two Of Peacemaker Featuring John Cena Begins Filming

When fans watched the movie adaptation of “The Suicide Squad” in 2021, they were captivated by John Cena’s performance as Peacemaker. This resulted in the creation of his own “Peacemaker” spinoff series, which ran on the MAX streaming service.

It made its debut in 2022, and two years later, it was promptly renewed for a second season. James Gunn wrote and directed the series. Chukwudi Iwuji, Robert Patrick, Jennifer Holland, Freddie Stroma, and Danielle Brooks are some of the other actors who appear in the series. Steve Agee also performs.

The character is a superhero who is so passionate about peace that he is willing to sacrifice anyone, including innocent people, in order to achieve it. At the time, the culmination of the season broke the record for the most successful single-day release of an HBO Max Original series in the history of the network.

At one point in time, the filming of Peacemaker was scheduled to take place after the forthcoming Superman project was finished. That has changed as both are being filmed simultaneously.

Additionally, Gunn mentioned on Threads that production has begun on the second season of the show.

The former WWE Champion was most recently seen competing in a brief six-man tag team match on the most recent episode of WWE RAW. In the match, he assisted The Miz and R-Truth in securing a victory.
