WWE Hall of Famer โThe Million Dollar Manโ Ted DiBiase recently took to an episode of his โEverybodyโs Got a Podโ podcast, where he talked about a number of topics including his pay.
DiBiase said, โI had been at the top of the mountain. I mean, I wasnโt making Hulk Hogan money, because he was the big shot, or Andre (The Giant). But I was, you know, up there at that in the upper echelon of the guys getting paid.โ
On whether he lost any trust in Vince McMahon after Jesse Ventura sued McMahon for royalties:
โWell, not totally. I mean, he just kind of like a promoterโs promoter. And itโs kind of like, by this time, we were signing contracts. And I would have somebody go over my contract to make sure there was nothing in there that was gonna be a surprise. But by that time, weโre talking about โ94, thatโs when I stopped wrestling. So now, Iโm a manager. And so Iโm still getting paid, but Iโm not getting paid the big bucks for being in the ring. Iโm still getting paid, and paid pretty dang good.โ
