TNA iMPACT
TNA iMPACT

TNA Impact aired from the Dothan Civic Center in Dothan, Alabama. The show featured The Nemeths defending the TNA World Tag Team Championship against TNA World Champion Leon Slater and X-Division Champion Amazing Red, Eddie Edwards battling Bear Bronson for leadership of The System, and Shotzi Blackheart returning to the TNA ring.

Moose Calls Out Syx

Moose opened the show by discussing a recent conversation with Matt Hardy, who told him that he had been off his game. Moose said he initially hated the person he used to be but now understood that he needed to rediscover that side of himself.

After reminding the fans that they had watched him help build TNA, Moose warned that anyone who knocked him down had better hope he did not get back up. He then called out Syx and said he was focused on taking out Joseph Sawyer and Samuel Shaw.

Sawyer and Shaw entered the ring and attacked Moose until Matt Hardy arrived carrying a steel pipe. His appearance forced Syx to retreat.

Leon Slater and Amazing Red Prepare for Their Title Match

Leon Slater and Amazing Red discussed their upcoming TNA World Tag Team Championship opportunity backstage before Trey Miguel interrupted. Miguel confronted Slater ahead of their TNA World Championship match at Destination X on November 15.

Slater said he had nothing more to tell Miguel, who responded by announcing that he would join commentary for the night’s tag team title match.

Indi Hartwell Confronts Daria Rae

Indi Hartwell approached TNA Director of Operations Daria Rae backstage while Brian continued supervising Rae on behalf of the TNA Board of Directors.

Hartwell attempted to provoke Rae into a physical confrontation, but Brian stepped between them and prevented a fight.

Frankie Kazarian and Avery Styles vs. Hunter James and Alexander Lev

Mustafa Ali joined the commentary team as Frankie Kazarian and Avery Styles faced Hunter James and Alexander Lev.

Styles opened the match with a dropkick to James before Kazarian entered and continued the attack. Alexander Lev tagged in, but Kazarian took him down with an arm drag. James and Lev eventually isolated Styles, using frequent tags and double-team offense to keep him away from his partner.

Kazarian received the tag and unloaded on Lev before Styles returned to deliver a leg sweep and Shining Wizard combination. Styles dragged Lev into position and connected with the Spinal Tap to secure the victory.

After the match, Ali grabbed a microphone and warned Kazarian not to raise Styles’ hand. Kazarian responded by knocking Ali from the apron before publicly raising his protégé’s hand.

Winners: Frankie Kazarian and Avery Styles via Pinfall

The System Discusses Its Leadership Dispute

Brian Myers told Alisha Edwards that Eddie Edwards and Bear Bronson needed to settle their disagreement over leadership of The System. Cedric Alexander stood nearby as the group prepared for the match.

Leadership of The System
Eddie Edwards vs. Bear Bronson

Eddie Edwards and Bear Bronson exchanged words before locking up, with Bronson using his size to level Eddie with a shoulder tackle and corner splash. Eddie answered with a right hand, but Bronson dropped him with a seated attack for an early two-count.

Eddie later lifted Bronson onto his shoulders and delivered a cutter. Bronson responded with a dive through the ropes before Eddie connected with a dive of his own. When Eddie charged toward him on the entrance ramp, Bronson caught him with a sidewalk slam. Both men managed to return to the ring before the referee completed the ten-count.

Bronson connected with another sidewalk slam following an exchange of right hands, but Eddie recovered and hit the Boston Knee Party to win the match and retain control of The System.

Cedric Alexander and Brian Myers joined both men afterward. Eddie and Bronson shook hands and embraced, apparently bringing their leadership dispute to an end.

Winner: Eddie Edwards via Pinfall

TNA Injury Report

The weekly injury report revealed that Jeff Hardy and BDE had not been medically cleared to compete. Avery Styles was also undergoing a medical evaluation following his match.

Santino Marella Meets Brian

TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella introduced himself to Brian backstage as Daria Rae watched. Brian insisted that he was capable of performing his job, but Marella mocked him by suggesting that all he did was write reports and send emails.

After Marella walked away, Rae told Brian that she did not believe Santino respected him. Brian appeared visibly angered by the encounter.

Fire ‘N Flava vs. Shotzi Blackheart and Allie

Shotzi Blackheart competed in her first TNA match since 2019, teaming with Allie against Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz of Fire ‘N Flava.

Blackheart and Steelz exchanged chops before Hogan tagged in and struck Allie with a forearm. Hogan then delivered a step-up leg drop to Blackheart, followed by a top-rope frog splash from Steelz. Hogan attempted the pin while the referee prevented Allie from entering, but Allie managed to break the count.

Allie sent Hogan crashing to the mat, allowing Blackheart to connect with a senton from the top rope and secure the victory. Fire ‘N Flava attacked Blackheart and Allie after the bell, repeatedly stomping both women.

Winners: Shotzi Blackheart and Allie via Pinfall

Mila Moore Ends Her Relationship with John Skyler

Mila Moore berated John Skyler backstage and called him a loser because of his recent defeats. Moore said she felt “ew” whenever she looked at him before walking away.

Once Moore had left, Skyler revealed that he had been planning to tell her he loved her. A devastated Skyler was later shown crying over the breakup.

Heather By Elegance Challenges Elayna Black

M By Elegance admitted that she had not treated Heather By Elegance well recently but called Heather her best friend. She then revealed a magazine cover intended for them to share.

Elayna Black approached and questioned whether Heather genuinely believed M. Heather accused Black of attempting to turn the two friends against each other and said she wanted Daria Rae to make a match between them official for the following week.

Black maintained that M was using Heather and reiterated that her primary objective remained the Knockouts Television Championship.

The Righteous Betray Harley Hudson and Initiate Xia Brookside

Vincent welcomed Harley Hudson to her initiation and reminded her how far she had come. He asked whether she was prepared to become righteous, leave her old life behind and bloom into something greater. Although she sounded hesitant, Hudson answered yes to each question.

Dutch raised a flower crown wrapped in twigs and prepared to place it on Hudson’s head, but the group’s music suddenly stopped. Vincent acknowledged that Hudson had kept him and Dutch waiting before forcing her to declare that she was righteous and that The Righteous were many.

Vincent then revealed that he and Dutch had found somebody else to join them. Xia Brookside appeared and struck Hudson in the back before dropping her with Darkside.

Vincent described Hudson as a mouse sacrificed to the coils of a snake and welcomed Brookside into The Righteous. Dutch placed the flower crown on Brookside’s head, officially initiating her into the group.

Matt Hardy and Moose to Face Syx at Destination X

Matt Hardy announced that Santino Marella had approved a tag team match for Destination X. Hardy and Moose will join forces against Joseph Sawyer and Samuel Shaw of Syx.

TNA World Tag Team Championship
The Nemeths (c) vs. Leon Slater and Amazing Red

Trey Miguel joined commentary as TNA World Champion Leon Slater and X-Division Champion Amazing Red challenged Nic and Ryan Nemeth for the TNA World Tag Team Championship.

Nic and Slater opened with a lockup before Ryan tagged in and drove his shoulder into Slater’s midsection. Amazing Red entered and unloaded on Nic with right hands in the corner, but the defending champions soon regained control.

Slater and Red sent both Nemeth brothers out of the ring and prepared to dive, only for Nic and Ryan to retreat up the entrance ramp. After the break, Slater connected with a double kick to Ryan’s face and delivered an airplane spin. Nic interfered behind the referee’s back by tripping Slater against the ropes.

Red tagged in and caught Nic with a top-rope dropkick. During the ensuing action, Ryan sent himself and Slater crashing into Red, Nic and the referee, leaving the official down.

Slater checked on the referee before attempting to dive onto Ryan at ringside, but Ryan struck him with one of the tag team championship belts. Inside the ring, Red rolled up Nic for what would have been a three-count, but the referee remained incapacitated.

Nic capitalized by hitting Red with the Danger Zone. The referee recovered in time to count the pin, allowing The Nemeths to retain their championship.

Elijah charged into the ring afterward carrying his acoustic guitar. He clotheslined Ryan out of the ring and attempted to strike Nic with the instrument, but Nic escaped before Elijah could connect.

Winners: The Nemeths via Pinfall to retain the TNA World Tag Team Championship

Taryn Terrell Approaches Harley Hudson

Harley Hudson was shown backstage speaking to her mother on the phone. Hudson admitted that her mother had been correct when she warned her not to trust The Righteous.

Hudson said she struggled to make friends and did not feel as though she had a home in TNA, although she also did not want to return to England. She promised to remain for another couple of weeks before ending the call.

Hudson then noticed a note attached to a locker bearing a kiss and the words “play with me.” As eerie music played, she followed the invitation into a dark room containing a dollhouse, where Taryn Terrell was waiting. Terrell asked Hudson if she wanted to play, bringing the show to an end.
