AEW star Tommaso Ciampa appeared on the Battleground Podcast to discuss various topics, including his dream feuds within the company.
Ciampa said, “If we’re talking not just a match, if we’re talking like a program, six months, the top of the list is MJF. Second, or I guess 1A and 1B, would be Jon Moxley. I feel like those are the two if it’s going to be a blood feud per se or something that’s long-lasting. Those are the two guys that on the mic, I would love to go battle with them. In the ring, I’d like to battle with them. There’s a lot of layers to that story that could be told with both guys.”
On other wrestlers he’d love to share the ring with:
“Just in-ring general wise, I mean, there’s so much talent, right? Takeshita. I’d like to get in there with Kyle [Fletcher] again. We had just met for the first time, and then next thing you know, ‘Hey, you guys are going to go out there and have whatever it was, 18 minutes or whatever.’ Okada, I’ve never shared a ring with. I’m kind of on a quest right now for a new title, so naturally, that brings Andrade, Okada, and Moxley right to the top of my list. But yeah, there’s just so much talent there, man. You can’t go wrong. Omega and Ospreay are natural dream matches. Whether that’s a program or a one-off, there’s just so many guys, man. There’s a long list I have on my phone, and the goal is to just check off the boxes. That’s been my main goal since getting to the company. I have a list of 30 deep, and I just want to keep checking off the boxes.”
