Rapper Post Malone is performing back-to-back shows at Madison Square Garden in New York City this week, and he was joined backstage at Wednesday’s opener by WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H and his wife, WWE Chairwoman & Co-CEO Stephanie McMahon.
As seen in the video below, Triple H and Malone performed The Game’s signature water gimmick.
“Game recognize game. @PostMalone,” WWE and Triple H tweeted as the caption to the clip.
Triple H then posted a photo of the trio backstage with the caption, “Awesome to see @PostMalone rock @TheGarden… Nothing quite like it.”
Triple H is a noted Motörhead fan, and the duo has also been photographed at Metallica and ZZ Top gigs, so attending a Malone concert is interesting. They do, however, have three teenage girls (ages 16, 14, and 12), so it’s likely that this was a family outing.
Malone, who has sold more than 13 million albums and more than 95 million digital songs in the United States, ranks among the top ten digital artists of all time. WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker appeared at a Malone concert in 2018 and performed a chokeslam to the Grammy-nominated rapper/singer.
