All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW) has provided an update on the condition of rising star Taishin Nagao, who was recently hospitalized after being hit by a bus late last month.
At the time of the incident, details surrounding the 21-year-old wrestler’s injuries were scarce. However, the promotion has now confirmed that Nagao suffered abdominal compression leading to traumatic shock. He is currently receiving care in the emergency intensive care unit, and the promotion noted that he remains under close medical supervision.
AJPW stated they will provide another update as soon as more information becomes available.
Nagao, who made his in-ring debut in October 2023, has been regarded as a promising young talent within the promotion. The wrestling community has sent an outpouring of support for his recovery.
