WWE NXT star Wendy Choo will not compete as scheduled on tonight’s episode of WWE NXT.
Earlier this month, WWE aired an angle in which Choo was attacked in the Performance Center’s poorly secured parking lot as the latest victim to be beaten down by an unknown attacker.
WWE typically does this to remove talent from television due to injury, as was the case with Choo. Choo was later reported to have been injured, but she would not be out for long. Choo’s return to the ring, where she was scheduled to work an NXT Women’s Championship qualifying match against Lyra Valkyria, was among the new matches that WWE announced last Friday for tonight’s show.
Choo has been replaced in the match by Ivy Nile, as seen below. Fans noticed the change on social media, but Choo is still listed in the URL for the Valkyria vs. Nile match on WWE’s website.
