Will Bray Wyatt Finally Return to the WWE?

Bill Apter is a respected journalist specializing in professional wrestling, so when he talks, fans listen. Recently, Apter commented on the absence of Bray Watt and how he might return as a member of The Judgement Day. Wyatt has been missing from wrestling action for four months, and it is unclear when he will return.

A Rise and Fall

During the height of his popularity, Wyatt was supposed to take on Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania 39, but the match was canceled. Wyatt was released by the WWE in 2021 but came back in September 2022 once Triple H took over.

Fans were excited to see Wyatt return in 2022, and sportsbooks saw an uptick in wagers on WWE matches. With any return of a major player in the ring, the betting industry generally sees an increase in wagers. It was expected that Wyatt’s return would generate a huge boost in fan interest, and odds started flowing in on how the wrestler would fare.

However, the excitement was short-lived as his Uncle Howdy storyline was unappealing. Fans were unhappy with the character and viewership, and betting operators like FanDuel sportsbook showed decreased interest.

Possible Judgement Day Return

According to Apter, bringing Wyatt back would be a good idea, particularly letting him appear as part of The Judgement Day. The reporter took his suggestion one step further and said that WWE should bring the entire Wyatt Family to the group.

The Judgement Day is a group of wrestlers consisting of Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley, Finn Balor, and Dominik Mysterio. If Wyatt returned and were part of this group, it would give him a new storyline and a perfect way to start over.

Apter has also suggested that Wyatt may return and have the Undertaker as his mentor. Earlier this year, the Undertaker appeared on Raw XXX, helping Wyatt to defeat LA Knight. As he walked away, Undertaker whispered something into Wyatt’s ear. Fans have been speculating ever since what could have been said between the two. Could it be a mentorship is in the works?
