People.com is reporting that American media personality Regis Philbin has passed away at the age of 88 due to natural causes.
Philbin had a long-time affiliation with WWE as many superstars appeared on the programs that he hosted over the years. Philbin interviewed numerous headliners including Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, and Steve Austin.
Philbin was a guest celebrity at Wrestlemania 7 in Los Angeles where he did an interview with The Undertaker and Paul Bearer. Philbin also did a promo for WWE’s 1000th episode of RAW.
