WWE’s Return To Madison Square Garden Will Feature A Unique Stage Set

WWE’s stage set will change for their upcoming SmackDown event.

CM Punk made his in-ring WWE comeback at the most recent WWE event at Madison Square Garden in New York City this past December. WWE broke a major record at this show, with the sold-out event becoming the highest-grossing domestic non-televised live event in the company’s history.

WWE’s last TV event at the venue was in July, with over 13,500 people in attendance. They broke Madison Square Garden’s record for the largest live gate for a single event. It was also the final WWE show at MSG under the McMahon family’s ownership, as the Endeavor Group completed its acquisition of WWE.

WWE will return to the venue for the June 28th episode of SmackDown.

As seen below, WWE will use a minimal stage for the event, as it has done at larger TV and PLE events held in arenas, such as Raw at the Wells Fargo Center last Monday night.
