WWE Hall of Famer โThe Million Dollar Manโ Ted DiBiase recently took to an episode of his โEverybodyโs Got a Podโ podcast, where he talked about a number of topics including his favorite wrestler that he managed.
DiBiase said, โI managed a few. Who was in Money Incorporated?โฆ Steve Austin was there for a while, but obviously [he moved on]. I saw that coming. I mean, obviously Steve Austin has become a super icon, and I get it. I didnโt manage him very long. And to be honest with you, I didnโt think Iโd be managing him very long because I could see what the guy had, and I just thought, โMan, this guy is going to shoot to the top.โ And thatโs exactly why I said heโs not going to be with me long because he doesnโt need me. Thatโs a whole lot of talent. But in terms of as a manager and a โ probably Steve Austin [sticks out].โ
DiBiase also talked about the wrestler whom he had the most fun managing.
โBut I tell you who I had fun managing: Bundy. I mean, heโs a good guy. Heโs a fun guy. I mean, obviously not the greatest wrestler in the world, but he was a fun guy, for sure. And Iโll be honest with you, he did pretty good on his own. Yeah, thatโs a hard question. I mean, because thereโs so many guys. Itโs a plethora of talent. And itโs like, I donโt want to pick one and cut somebody else short.โ
