Batista On How He Was Supposed To Be Inducted Into The WWE Hall Of Fame In 2020

WWE legend and Hollywood celebrity Dave Bautista recently spoke with ComicBook.com on a number of topics including how he was supposed to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame back in 2020, but was not due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Bautista said, โ€œI couldnโ€™t give you an honest answer to that because I thinkโ€ฆ. Iโ€™m only gonna say this because weโ€™ve had conversations, over the years, it would the WWE Hall of Fame.โ€ โ€œI was supposed to go in and I was on a film and I just couldnโ€™t travel. I was on a film in South Africa and logistically we just couldnโ€™t make it happen. So, you know, and I havenโ€™t talked to James about the DC Universe.โ€

โ€œI would love to work with James again, whether itโ€™s DC Universe or not. I just love James Gunn. Heโ€™s an incredible director and we have a camaraderie thatโ€™s priceless. So to work with him again? I mean Iโ€™d do it for free. But, we just havenโ€™t had the conversations. Heโ€™s on top of DC now. Heโ€™s doing his thing. Iโ€™m trying to grind along in my processing. But, Iโ€™m always open-minded too and Iโ€™ve expressed that to him.โ€
