AEW star Kyle Fletcher appeared on the CHGO Blackhawks podcast, where he talked about a number of topics including his new ring gear.
Fletcher said, “I was pretty happy. I think everyone was pretty shocked by the thighs. I get very nervous and anxious…if you think about, the whole idea and changing appearance and new gear all stemmed from my brain. I didn’t get a lot of input from a lot of people. It’s my brain child, really. I’m debuting this new thing that I created in my brain. Only a few people, up until the day of, had seen it.”
On the reaction to his new trunks:
“The people who designed and made the gear, Skye Blue, a couple of friends. For the mass population, it was their first time seeing it. It was very nerve-racking, but the reaction was polarizing, which I think is probably the best thing you can ask for. A lot of people hated it and made noise about it, that makes me happy.”
