At WWE WrestleMania 41 Sunday, fans were treated to a major surprise when TNA World Champion Joe Hendry was revealed as Randy Orton’s mystery opponent. Although Hendry ultimately came up short in the high-profile bout, his appearance marked a landmark moment in cross-promotional history—and it seems WWE leadership took notice.
Speaking at the post-show media scrum, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque had high praise for Hendry’s performance and potential future with WWE.
“I love Joe Hendry. He’s a great talent, great entertainer, smart, respectful to what we do. He has a bright future,” Triple H said. “I was really happy that we could put him in this spot and showcase him for everybody on a bigger platform in the world.”
Levesque also hinted that this may not be a one-time appearance for the Scottish star, offering Hendry a bold piece of advice just before he walked through the curtain at Allegiant Stadium.
“I told him right before he walked out, ‘You will be here again, so enjoy this one because the pressure gets heavy from here. This will be the easiest WrestleMania you ever do, and you will do more.’”
While Hendry remains under contract with TNA Wrestling, speculation is already running high about potential future appearances in WWE.
