Jeff Cobb wrestled his final match for NJPW last month and announced his departure from the company. Reports indicated that he was heading to WWE and is on the organization’s internal roster.
On Wednesday, Cobb took to his Twitter (X) account and shared a photo of himself at the beach, declaring that he has retired from professional wrestling. He wrote, “16 years is a long time to work. Happy retirement to me! I’ll let the waves take me to my next destination. Can I wade in your water until I catch your wave?”
It remains unclear whether Cobb has genuinely retired from professional wrestling or if he is taking a break before making an appearance in WWE or another wrestling promotion. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
