Update On Vince McMahon’s New Company And Potential Return To Wrestling

Former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon is making headlines once again—this time for his potential return to the wrestling industry via a brand-new venture.

As previously reported, McMahon recently launched a new company called 14TH & I, which will focus on opportunities in sports, media, and entertainment. According to a new report from Sports Illustrated’s Justin Barrasso, McMahon attempted to purchase a controlling interest in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), though the deal ultimately fell through.

Barrasso provided further insight into McMahon’s post-WWE trajectory, stating:

“Speaking with several executives in combat sports and pro wrestling, the belief is that McMahon will ultimately find himself involved again in professional wrestling, an industry he revolutionized over the last 40 years.”

While 14TH & I is positioned as a broad investment firm, Barrasso noted that industry insiders are skeptical that McMahon’s new company will realistically produce movies or television shows, calling such projects “a process that generally takes years to materialize.”

Additionally, off-the-record conversations with current wrestlers suggest that despite the controversy surrounding his resignation, McMahon remains respected by many talents in the industry.

Whether through 14TH & I or another avenue, the expectation among insiders is that McMahon is not done with professional wrestling just yet.
