Despite strong backstage support for a full-time move to Monday Night Raw, LA Knight will reportedly remain a SmackDown superstar—at least for now.
According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, while there has been a significant push internally for “The Megastar” to switch brands, WWE has no immediate plans to make that move official. However, Knight will continue to appear on Raw over the next several weeks as part of a growing cross-brand storyline.
“On LA Knight to Raw, he will be and is doing a program with the Paul Heyman group and Raw guys and SmackDown guys aren’t strict at all. But no move to Raw right now as a home base, but he’ll be on the show at times,” Meltzer explained.
Knight has recently targeted members of Heyman’s new faction, interfering in King of the Ring qualifying matches and costing both Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed their shots at the crown. His involvement continues to heat up tensions across both brands as WWE leans into looser brand divisions.
