AEW World Champion and leader of the Death Riders, Jon Moxley, discussed various topics with Undisputedโ€™s Justin Barrasso, including the story of “Hangman” Adam Page.

Moxley said, โ€œHangmanโ€™s a nice guy. Iโ€™ll say this about himโ€“he doesnโ€™t pretend to be somebody heโ€™s not. I just donโ€™t think he knows exactly who he is yetโ€ฆ I donโ€™t care what heโ€™s going through or what song he listens to on the way in. Unless he finds what heโ€™s looking for and grows into a beautiful butterfly right in front of our eyes and beats me, then good for him. But thatโ€™s not going to happen. The Millennial Cowboy, the Emo Cowboy, that vulnerability, itโ€™s what endeared himself to so much of the audience in wrestling. Those people will support you to the end of the earth. Now theyโ€™re asking more of him. Now he has to live up to that.โ€

On facing Page at All In:

โ€œThe walls are closing in on Hangman Page. Heโ€™s about to reach the summit of a mountain, a personal mountain, heโ€™s been climbing for the last two or three years. He created this out of his own emotional baggage, his own f***ups, and I couldnโ€™t even explain the restโ€“youโ€™d have to ask him. But heโ€™s clearly been searching for something for a long time, and it would be a very long, very painful fall if it doesnโ€™t happen for him. Thatโ€™s exactly whatโ€™s going to happen. I donโ€™t need a fancy entrance. I donโ€™t need pyro. I donโ€™t need shit. In fact, I donโ€™t even need to wear the f***ing belt. Iโ€™m inherently the AEW world champion. You can steal the belt, make your own, it doesnโ€™t matter. You canโ€™t take away what Iโ€™ve cultivated. Hangman is worried about who Iโ€™m bringing to the ring, or the type of weapons Iโ€™ll bring. None of that sh*t matters. Myself and my wits, thatโ€™s what I rely on to get the job done. Can he do what I do when you take away all that extra sh*t? What happens then? He ainโ€™t got sh*t. He should worry about that more than his soul search from the past three years. Iโ€™m going to absolutely torture him, and Iโ€™m going to embrace and revel in it. The world will see the difference between him and me. He doesnโ€™t want to win. Heโ€™s thinking about The Young Bucks and his apology for burning down Swerveโ€™s house. That was cool. Why apologize? F***ing own it, man. Heโ€™s in his own head. Iโ€™m at peace with the world. I give less than zero f***ks. I have less than zero sympathy for him. Itโ€™s going to be ugly, people are going to be sad, and Iโ€™m going to love it.โ€
