Former NWA Women’s World Champion Kamille may be heading in a new creative direction, as a recent trademark filing suggests a character evolution is underway.
On July 15, 2025, Kamille (real name Kailey Farmer) filed to trademark the term “The Cat 5.” The application, filed with the USPTO, covers a wide array of entertainment services, including:
“Wrestling contests; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer,” along with live and televised wrestling appearances.
The term “Cat 5” references a Category 5 hurricane—the most intense classification—possibly signaling a new persona that leans into Kamille’s powerhouse presence and dominance in the ring.
Kamille was last seen in AEW in 2024 as an ally to Mercedes Moné. Since then, she has reportedly focused on projects outside the company. However, this filing has reignited fan speculation about a potential AEW return, this time under a new name and character direction.
Kamille’s reign as NWA Women’s World Champion lasted 813 days, cementing her as one of the most dominant female champions in recent wrestling history. The “Cat 5” moniker could be the next chapter in a career already defined by intensity and strength.
