Undisputed WWE Champion โThe American Nightmareโ Cody Rhodes is currently on a short hiatus from WWE programming as he films his role as Guile in the upcoming Street Fighter movie.
Initially, reports suggested that Rhodesโ status for WrestlePalooza on Saturday, September 20th, was uncertain. However, Dave Meltzer noted on a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that Rhodes will indeed return in time to participate in the show and defend his championship against Drew McIntyre.
Adding to that, Paul โTriple Hโ Levesque appeared on The Pat McAfee Show this week and directly confirmed Rhodesโ participation at WrestlePalooza.
WrestlePalooza is scheduled for Saturday, September 20th, at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. The event will mark the debut of WWEโs premium live events (PLEs) on ESPNโs new app. Notably, the show will run the same weekend as AEW All Out, which has shifted its start time to 3 PM ET to avoid direct head-to-head competition.
