AEW/ROH star Willie Mack has transitioned to a “tier zero” contract, which is a “paid-per-appearance” deal, after previously being on a salaried contract. This week, Mack garnered attention on social media when he expressed concerns about becoming homeless, stating that the booker does not believe he is worth the money.
According to PWInsider.com, Mack’s AEW contract has expired, and although he was offered a new contract, he turned it down “some time ago.” However, Mack, who hasn’t wrestled in AEW/ROH since December, has denied this claim.
In response to the PWInsider rumor, Mack asked, “When did I turn it down?” and posted a GIF that read, “Wrong.”
Mack’s last appearance on AEW programming was during a March 2025 episode of Collision, where he lost to Wheeler Yuta.
