WWE has announced the updated lineup for the 2026 NXT Heatwave premium live event (PLE), scheduled for later this month.
WWE NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo will defend his title against Cruz Montana, Grayson Waller, and Zilla Fatu in a Fatal 4-Way Match. Additionally, WWE NXT North American Champion Myles Borne will defend his title against Jackson Drake from The Vanity Project. Furthermore, WWE NXT Tag Team Champions Myles Borne and Tavion Heights will defend their titles against The Vanity Project’s Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes.
Also announced for the event is WrenQCC’s WWE NXT Women’s Champion Kendal Grey, who will defend her title against Kelani Jordan. Furthermore, WWE NXT Women’s North American Champion ZARIA and WrenQCC’s WWE Women’s Speed Champion Wren Sinclair will compete in a unification match for the WWE NXT Women’s North American and WWE Women’s Speed Championships.
WWE NXT Heatwave 2026 will take place on Sunday, August 30th, at the Bert Ogden Arena in Edinburg, Texas, and will air live on The CW.
