AEW star Kevin Knight spoke with 11 Alive about various topics, including his in-ring style, which incorporates elements from Mr. Perfect, The Rock, Jeff Hardy, and others.
Knight said, “I would say it’s a combination of so many different things. I’m not too sure if you’re familiar with the old school, like a Mr. Perfect, The Rock, Jeff Hardy. I like to intertwine some Deion Sanders in there; I like to throw some Cam Newton in there for the promos. It’s a lot of different things I like to throw in there. But at the end of the day, The Jet is the flyest of all time. So that every time you see me on the screen, just know that you’re going to see something you’ve never seen before.”
On setting his sights on the World Title:
“That’s the goal, that’s the goal. Before we were trying to be Jet Two-Belts. But now, you know, we had to revert back and we gotta get a new game plan.”
