Pro Wrestling Revolver has announced via its Twitter (X) account that recently signed TNA Wrestling star Joseph Sawyer will not be able to compete at the upcoming REVOLVER IX: Tales From the Ring event this weekend due to a minor injury.
As a result, Sawyer’s originally scheduled opponents, Revolver World Champion Damian Chambers and Mance Warner, will now face each other in a No Disqualification Match.
The announcement reads, “Due to a minor injury sustained over the weekend, Joseph Sawyer unfortunately has to pull out of our event this Friday. We love Joseph and wish him a speedy recovery. He WILL be back at Revolver SOON. Damian Chambers will now defend the Revolver World Title, 1-on-1, No DQ Vs. Mance Warner!”
PWMania.com previously reported that Sawyer and his tag team partner, Samuel Shaw, will appear on tonight’s episode of TNA iMPACT. They made their debut on last week’s show by attacking The Hardys. It has since been announced that the former WWE stars and tag team champions have officially signed with TNA Wrestling.
