AEW star Wardlow returned to in-ring action by participating in a 10-man main event during Wednesday’s Dynamite episode. This episode was a tribute show to the late PAC and also featured Bryan Danielson’s return to the ring. In the match, Danielson and the Death Riders defeated Wardlow and his allies from the Don Callis Family.
Wardlow later took to his Twitter (X) account to share his thoughts on the match.
Wardlow wrote, “Bittersweet night. Extremely saddened by the loss of one the best wrestlers and humans I’ve ever met, but also after over two years, so incredibly happy to be home. Thank you @AEW and thank you to everyone in the crowd last night in Pittsburgh for the love that was shown 🙏🏽”
The match marked his first AEW TV appearance since AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door in August 2025, where he suffered a torn pectoral muscle during his return segment.
