PWMania.com previously reported that content creator Astrid Pizarro received a set of “Toni Storm tapes” at AEW WrestleDream, suggesting that Storm may soon be reintroduced into AEW storylines. The former Women’s World Champion has been absent from television since she was written out after a mysterious attack during the Dynamite episode following AEW Revolution in March.
According to Fightful Select, sources indicate that Storm is not scheduled to return immediately. However, there may be “other elements involving her” that could be incorporated into AEW television programming. There have been no indications that Storm has attended many, if any, AEW shows recently.
Back in March, it was reported that Storm was not expected to return until the end of the year at the earliest, and more likely in 2027. Her absence is not attributed to an injury, but further details have not been disclosed, and Tony Khan has declined to comment.
