The June 18, 2025, Grand Slam Mexico edition of AEW Dynamite drew the show’s highest viewership of the year, delivering a major ratings win for AEW and marking a successful international special broadcast from Arena Mexico in Mexico City.
According to Programming Insider, the episode averaged 736,000 viewers on TBS, up 23% from the 597,000 pulled in on June 11. The boost made this the best Dynamite number in nearly a year, dating back to the July 24, 2024 episode, which drew 786,000 viewers.
In the coveted 18-49 demographic, the show earned a 0.21 rating, a jump from 0.17 the previous week, placing it among the top 10 cable programs on Wednesday night.
Despite competition from the Men’s College World Series on ESPN (1.911 million viewers) and an ABC news special on Karen Read: The Verdict (2.034 million viewers), Dynamite held its own and demonstrated renewed interest in AEW’s product thanks to the Grand Slam Mexico marketing push and card.
This week’s strong performance breaks a downtrend and marks a potential turning point as AEW looks to maintain momentum heading into the All In: Texas event and beyond.
