As PWMania.com previously reported, WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio recently shared that his daughter, Aalyah Mysterio, has begun her wrestling training.
According to PWInsider.com, Aalyah Gutierrez, also known as Aalyah Mysterio, has officially started her WWE journey by training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The report reveals that Aalyah is now listed on WWE’s internal roster under her real name, rather than using the “Mysterio” surname, which is associated with her father and older brother, WWE star Dominik Mysterio.
Aalyah has previously appeared on WWE programming. She was involved in an on-air storyline during her family’s feud with “The Monday Night Messiah,” Seth Rollins. At one point, she developed a romantic interest in Rollins’ acolyte, Buddy Murphy (now known as Buddy Matthews), and kissed him on-air during WWE SmackDown in October 2020. Aalyah also participated in her father and brother’s storyline, which culminated in their match at WrestleMania 39.
There is currently no information regarding when she will make her TV debut or whether she will start in NXT or the main roster, but updates will be provided as they become available.
