At the 2025 AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door PPV event, Jamie Hayter made her return to the company by coming to the aid of Queen Aminata, who was being attacked by the Triangle of Madness (Thekla, Julia Hart, and Skye Blue).
According to Fightful Select, this return was not a surprise, as it has always been the plan for Hayter to feud with Thekla upon her comeback.
The report also noted that Hayter received praise for working through the spot with Thekla, who had written her off in storylines.
This situation follows previous reports stating that Hayter did not initially believe she was injured after her match with Mercedes Moné at Double or Nothing. However, she ended up not being cleared to compete.
Thekla’s debut was expedited so she could be involved in the storyline that wrote Hayter off due to her injury.
