According to a new report from PWInsider.com, WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio was originally scheduled to perform his trademark leap from the stage entrance at WrestleMania 41. However, those plans were scrapped following the groin injury he sustained during the go-home episode of SmackDown prior to the event.
Mysterio was ultimately replaced at WrestleMania 41 by Rey Fenix, who stepped in to face El Grande Americano after it was confirmed that Mysterio would be unable to compete.
