Vince McMahon was forced to retire from the WWE over a year ago due to the lawsuits that were filed against him and since then, the company has had a number of significant changes that resulted in a much better product.
Fightful Select reports that WWE has been trying to establish a better in-ring product, which is why they have had matches like GUNTHER vs. Bronson Reed and Ricochet vs. Shinsuke Nakamura. One source mentioned that this was very important for the company to showcase these types of talents.
A second source then noted that McMahon’s influence was felt every time he made a change and the show that was called a disaster was the RAW after WrestleMania 39, which McMahon was really hands-on in.
Moving forward, Paul “Triple H” Levesque is reportedly in total control of the company’s creativity and will continue to improve the product.
