PWMania.com previously reported that WWE veteran “The Man” Becky Lynch served as the special guest referee during the recent Women’s World Championship Match between Liv Morgan and “La Primera” Stephanie Vaquer at a live event in Santiago, Chile, on Saturday.
Throughout the match, Morgan persistently attempted to provoke Lynch into striking her. However, Lynch held her composure and ultimately had the last laugh when she refused to complete the pinfall count after Morgan hit Vaquer with the Oblivion and then insulted her.
Vaquer took advantage of the situation and pinned Morgan, winning the Women’s World Championship in front of her home crowd in Chile. Following the event, Lynch took to her Twitter (X) account to assert that “corrupt” referee Jessika Carr could learn a thing or two about officiating matches from her.
Lynch wrote, “Corrupt Carr could learn a lot from Referee Rebecca!”
Lynch accused Carr of showing bias towards her opponents during Lynch’s tenure as the Women’s Intercontinental Champion, prompting the official to call out the former Women’s World Champion on social media. At Saturday Night’s Main Event in May, Lynch intentionally pushed Carr into the path of Sol Ruca’s Sol Snatcher, resulting in Carr awarding the match to Sol by disqualification. This incident ultimately led to Lynch losing the championship to Ruca at Clash in Italy later that month.
