Japanese pro wrestling veteran Daisuke Sekimoto was rushed to the hospital after his match with Big Japan Wrestling. During the match, he experienced numbness in his hands and legs, which led the referee to stop the bout because Sekimoto was unable to continue.
The promotion recently provided an update on Sekimoto’s condition, confirming that he has been officially diagnosed with a traumatic cervical spine injury. Fortunately, they reported that he is not experiencing any paralysis or muscle weakness. Sekimoto is expected to be out of action for the entire month of June. In two weeks, he will undergo further examination to assess his progress in recovery.
