On the latest episode of The Nikki & Brie Show on SiriusXM, WWE’s Queen of All Eras, Charlotte Flair, joined Nikki and Brie Garcia for a deeply personal, unfiltered, and empowering conversation. From carrying the weight of her legendary surname to her vision for the women’s division, Charlotte opened up like never before—discussing everything from dating to dream gigs beyond the squared circle.
Reflecting on the long-awaited return of WWE Evolution, Flair didn’t hold back on the importance of the event—and how much has changed since 2018.
“It’s hard to believe the last one was six years ago,” she said. “The first Evolution was extremely successful, and there’s a lot of pressure to make the second one just as good. But now, fans are tuning in not just because it’s an all-women’s pay-per-view—they’re watching because they care about the superstars. It’s not just, ‘Let’s watch the women.’ It’s, ‘I want to see Rhea Ripley. I want to see Alexa Bliss. I want to see Charlotte Flair.’ That matters.”
Being the daughter of the iconic Ric Flair comes with accolades… and baggage. Charlotte shared that the pressure of carrying the Flair legacy shaped her mindset—sometimes more than she realized.
“I had such a chip on my shoulder early in my career,” Charlotte admitted. “Like, ‘No, I’m not just Ric Flair’s daughter—I earned this.’ Looking back, I wish I leaned into that villain role even more. I could’ve owned it. Like, ‘Yeah, I’m his daughter. And I’m still better than you.’ But instead, I felt like I constantly had to prove something. That’s still a rollercoaster I deal with today.”
Brie praised Flair for successfully carving her own legacy, saying, “You’ve done an incredible job keeping that legacy alive. Not everyone does what you’ve done.”
Flair also pulled back the curtain on her personal life, including her post-divorce dating world—and why Ric Flair might be a bit too helpful.
“I was on Raya for like three months in 2016,” Flair revealed. “But I haven’t touched a dating app since. I’d rather meet someone the old-fashioned way. My dad tries to play matchmaker and I’m like, ‘Sir, sit down.’ He tells everyone I’m single. It’s so embarrassing.”
When asked about her type, Charlotte joked that chemistry matters more than height—but she’s not opposed to someone her size or taller. “It’s all about chemistry,” she said. “That’s everything.”
Charlotte also addressed her renewed on-screen dynamic with Alexa Bliss, teasing what could be a long-overdue storyline.
“We’ve had feuds here and there, but never a long one. To see where this is going now is exciting—it’s natural. We came up together in NXT, the chemistry is real. I call her ‘Blister’ off-camera. She’s still mad I tore up her doll Lily a few years ago!”
Nikki chimed in, comparing their intense stare-downs to those of Randy Orton. “You both really take your time with the camera. It’s mesmerizing.”
Looking beyond WWE, Charlotte shared two bucket-list dreams she’s manifesting into reality: competing on Dancing with the Stars, and making a fabulous guest appearance on RuPaul’s Drag Race.
“My outfits already fit right in,” Charlotte laughed. “I’d love to be on both shows. ‘Dancing with the Stars’ has always been a goal of mine. I’m still in acting class, waiting for the right role—but those two shows? They give me that feeling of nerves, of excitement. It’s like being on stage again.”
Flair would follow in the footsteps of fellow WWE alums Nikki Garcia, Stacy Keibler, Chris Jericho, and The Miz if she joins DWTS. Nikki was all in on the idea: “You have to do both. I’ll be upset if we don’t see this within the next year!”
