As reported by PWMania.com, reigning Undisputed WWE Champion CM Punk is scheduled to make a special appearance at this weekend’s non-televised WWE NXT event on Saturday, August 15, in Petersburg, Virginia. This appearance follows Punk’s successful title defense against Cody Rhodes at WWE SummerSlam 2026 Night One earlier this month.
According to WrestleTix (via F4WOnline.com), ticket sales for the upcoming WWE NXT live event have increased since Punk’s appearance was announced. Specifically, sales have risen by 222 tickets, bringing the total to 1,483, up from 1,261 at the time of the announcement.
The WWE NXT show will take place at the VSU Multipurpose Center. Additionally, NXT is scheduled to hold another live event the night before, on Friday, August 14, at the Wicomico Civic Center in Salisbury, Maryland, which has reportedly sold 968 tickets.
