AEW talent Don Callis recently appeared on an episode of Busted Open Radio and talked about a number of topics including if he felt bad watching Powerhouse Hobbs destroy “The Ocho” Chris Jericho.
Callis said, โOne of the chapters in the upcoming management book, Management Secrets of Don Callis and The Don Callis Family is called, โSee everything, feel nothing.โ I havenโt had those emotions in my life, so I donโt know what they are. I can see when I watch people, whether theyโre grieving or at a funeral or at a funeral or something like that, I can see that thatโs what youโre supposed to do. But I donโt feel it.โ
Callis also talked about how he believes its time for Jericho to retire.
Callis said, โIf I feel anything, I feel bad for Ted Irvine, Chrisโ dad. Heโs a great guy, as we all know. Former NHL hockey player. Chrisโ dad always treated me kindly, even though others said heโs a psychopath, thereโs something wrong with him. Ted Irvine was always good to me. So I feel bad, but I guess maybe Iโm doing for Chris Jericho what Ted Irvine wasnโt able to do. Tell him, โItโs time, itโs over. Time to stop. Youโve had a great run. Youโre maybe the greatest of all time, but end it now, and allow the ending to be the beginning for the Don Callis Family and Will Hobbs.โ
