Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Receives NATO Spirit Of The Industry Award At CinemaCon 2024

WWE legend Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who competed at WrestleMania 40 Night One and got physical on WrestleMania 40 Night Two, then appeared on the post-WrestleMania 40 episodes of RAW and SmackDown, made a surprise appearance in Las Vegas on Thursday, April 11 at CinemaCon 2024.

Rock appeared during the Walt Disney Studios presentation in the afternoon at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace to promote the upcoming release of Moana 2, where he reprises his role as Maui.

During the event, The Rock received the National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO) Spirit of the Industry Award and spoke about the importance of his role as Maui. The Rock said Maui is inspired by his grandfather, late WWE Hall of Famer “High Chief” Peter Maivia.
