Eddie Kingston Wants To Face Shingo Takagi At AEW All In Or All Out

AEW star Eddie Kingston recently spoke with the NJPW Press on a number of topics covering all things pro wrestling. During the discussion, Kingston revealed he was nervous when he saw he was paired up against Shingo Takagi at a recent NJPW G1 Climax 33 Event because Shingo is so good.

Kingston said, โ€œI canโ€™t believe it. Oh my God. The dream lives on folks, the dream lives on. Iโ€™m not gonna lie, when I saw I was paired up against Shingo (Takagi), former IWGP World Champion, I was so nervous. I tried to play it off like I was cool. I was so nervous, heโ€™s so good. Iโ€™m not gonna lie and sit here, yeah, I beat his ass, because I didnโ€™t. Iโ€™m a little disappointed in my performance. The hernia surgery that I had before the tour in Japan started acting up after he gave me a knee to the gut. Holy โ€” ouuu wow, itโ€™s a lot of pain. No excuses though. I won, but I got lucky. Iโ€™m gonna have to do better against EVIL, thatโ€™s all I can say.โ€

Kingston also spoke about how he hopes to face Shingo Takagi once against at AEW All Out or All In.

โ€œShingo, Iโ€™m not gonna talk a lot of trash and try to sell tickets. This is a sport so Iโ€™m gonna treat it like a sport. Thank you for the fight and I hope we do it again. Iโ€™m praying, Tony Khan, Iโ€™ll put you on the spot. Me and Shingo, All In or All Outโ€ฆ give us time. Me and Shingo will show the world strong style, Kingโ€™s Road combined. Thank you Shingo. EVIL, ah, I gotta do better.โ€
