To hype tonight’s Blood & Guts episode from Boston, Warner Bros. Discovery is collaborating with AEW Dynamite and Discovery’s Shark Week.
Chompie, the Shark Week mascot, is currently backstage at the TD Garden in Boston, as seen on Shark Week Instagram Stories. Shark Boy, a former WCW and Impact wrestler, was brought in to tape the Shark Week promotion, as seen in the screenshots below.
Shark Week also released a time-lapse video of the Blood & Guts double cage being constructed inside TD Garden. The related post and screenshots are shown below.
AEW also took part in the 2022 Shark Week promotion, with Chris Jericho defeating Eddie Kingston in a Barb Wire Everywhere Death Match on July 20 with The Jericho Appreciation Society locked in a shark cage above the ring.
Shark Week on Discovery begins on Sunday, July 23.
