If you ask Glenn “Disco Inferno” Gilbertti, the look Karrion Kross had when he first arrived in WWE is the one he should still be using today.
The former WCW star recently appeared as a guest on Konnan’s “Keepin’ It 100″ podcast for an interview, during which he spoke about how he believes Karrion Kross should go back to his old look.
โThis is the problem with Karrion Kross. If he wouldโve come up to WWE immediately as the character he was presented like in NXT, he wouldโve gotten over,” he said. “But he went to the main roster and they just did nothing with him and they put a helmet on him and it was just like they neutered him. It was likeโฆ So then when he came back, when Hunter came back, he then he immediately thrust him from that from his perception before with the guy with the helmet that was getting beat by Jeff Hardy they wanted to put him in the picture with Drew McIntyre and Roman [Reigns].”
Gilbertti continued, “But he didnโt look that same. He had hair and itโs like weโve never seen the presentation of Krossโ character the way it was presented in NXT. He hasnโt looked like that character and hasnโt been presented like that. So, itโs weird. I think Kross should cut his hair and go back and letโs try to get back to the roots of what worked.โ
