Luchablog recently shared a Reddit post from a user claiming that CMLL star Hechicero has signed a contract with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), allowing him to work for both promotions. According to Luchablog, they believe this report is credible; several sources have confirmed that the deal is in progress. The initial plan was for this agreement to take effect around Grand Slam in Mexico, but there have been some delays.
Hechicero recently competed in the main event of this week’s ROH on HonorClub, where he defeated Angelico. He is currently part of the Don Callis Family and participated in a tag team match alongside Josh Alexander on this week’s AEW Dynamite.
I believe this reddit user is correct. Had couple sources tell me Hechicero was signing with AEW. Plan was for it be official around Grand Slam Mexico, got held up a bit, I prefer waiting to be certain to say anything.
