HOOK Health Update Following Post-Match Incident On AEW Dynamite

Following last Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite, concern spread among fans after HOOK vomited in the ring once cameras stopped rolling. The incident occurred shortly after his tag team match with Samoa Joe, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta, prompting speculation that HOOK may have suffered a concussion.

However, according to Dave Meltzer on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, HOOK did not sustain a concussion. Meltzer confirmed, “He threw up, but he didn’t have a concussion. That’s what I found out.”

While the exact reason for HOOK’s sickness remains unclear, it’s believed it may have stemmed from a rough landing—specifically a spot where he took a Neutralizer from Castagnoli and landed stomach-first onto a steel chair. As of now, AEW has not issued an official statement regarding the matter, but HOOK is reportedly doing fine.
