AEW announcer and Senior Advisor โGood Oleโ J.R.โ Jim Ross took to an episode of his โGrilling Jrโ podcast to talk about a number of topics, including if he will be appearing at All In: Texas and when his contract with the company expires.
Ross said, โOh, yeah, I think so. My [AEW] contract expires in August [2025), but I donโt have any sense or feeling that Iโm not gonna be kept.โ
On how he will remain with AEW for years to come due to his current schedule:
โBecause of the schedule I do, I could maintain that for years to come. Iโm not saying that in a braggadocios fashion. This is what I do. This is what I was born to do. As long as my heart is beating and Iโm healthy, and right now, Iโm healthier than Iโve ever been. Once this wound heals, and itโs getting closer and closer, Iโll be 100%. Iโm waiting for my hip to heal from hip surgery.โ
