Former WWE Superstar Katana Chance is focusing on her recovery and well-being following her recent release from the company. Chance revealed this week that she has undergone surgery to repair a broken nose — an injury she originally sustained during her WWE run in 2024.
Taking to her Instagram Story, Chance shared a post-surgery photo alongside an image of the initial injury. Her caption read simply, “Finally got my broken nose fixed.”
The injury occurred on the July 29, 2024 episode of Monday Night Raw, during a match against Zoey Stark. The damage was caused by Stark’s Z-360 finisher, which led to Chance being sidelined as she began the recovery process.
Despite returning briefly before her release, Chance later expressed that she never felt fully supported in developing her character on WWE television. In post-WWE comments, she noted the challenges of breaking through and finding her voice on the main roster.
Now free from her WWE obligations, Chance is using her time away to prioritize her health, with the recent surgery marking a crucial step forward in her personal and professional healing.
As speculation continues about her next move, Chance joins the growing list of released talent taking control of their futures outside the WWE system.
