Justin Kroll of Deadline.com reports that former WWE star Ronda Rousey is set to partner up with the streaming giant Netflix as they plan to release a biopic on her memoirs as well as her personal life and pro wrestling career.

Rousey’s life story, which was featured in her two biographies, “My Fight/Your Fight” and “Our Fight,” will be part of the biopic. It will also delve into her remarkable journey through the realms of MMA and WWE, where she has captured championship gold.

Chernin Entertainment will be in charge of the biopic’s production, but a deal has not been finalized yet. Although Rousey will be helping out with the script, she doesn’t plan on taking a role in the film.

You can check out Deadline’s statement below:

“The project was originally set up at Paramount in 2015 when the studio acquired the rights to her first memoir My Fight/Your Fight. Following a handful of regime changes at the studio, the rights would eventually lapse with Netflix ultimately jumping on them after Netflix exec, Michelle Evans, championed the project after being a long time fan of Rousey.”
