SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis appeared on Insight With Chris Van Vliet, where he talked about a number of topics including Lee Fittingโs influence in the company.
Aldis said, โLee Fitting has done such an incredible job. For a guy of his caliber. In his mind, they are small and simple kind of changes that heโs made, but to us, weโre like, โWoah.โ Some of the shots heโs been coming up with and developing are absolutely incredible. The stuff with Sami and Jey up in the concourse of the arena and coming down. You go, โHow did they not do this before?โ Sometimes, you canโt see the forest through the trees.โ
On WWE not having a ceiling:
โThere is no ceiling for the WWE. Literally, none. These are conversations that have happened internally. We donโt have to be almost as big as the NFL. Why not? Weโre both going to be on Netflix. Have to go more global. When you think about where the company started and all the way through, โIt canโt possibly get any bigger.โ Not according to Nick Khan.โ
