Nick Aldis: “There Is No Ceiling For The WWE”

SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis appeared on Insight With Chris Van Vliet, where he talked about a number of topics including Lee Fittingโ€™s influence in the company.

Aldis said, โ€œLee Fitting has done such an incredible job. For a guy of his caliber. In his mind, they are small and simple kind of changes that heโ€™s made, but to us, weโ€™re like, โ€˜Woah.โ€™ Some of the shots heโ€™s been coming up with and developing are absolutely incredible. The stuff with Sami and Jey up in the concourse of the arena and coming down. You go, โ€˜How did they not do this before?โ€™ Sometimes, you canโ€™t see the forest through the trees.โ€

On WWE not having a ceiling:

โ€œThere is no ceiling for the WWE. Literally, none. These are conversations that have happened internally. We donโ€™t have to be almost as big as the NFL. Why not? Weโ€™re both going to be on Netflix. Have to go more global. When you think about where the company started and all the way through, โ€˜It canโ€™t possibly get any bigger.โ€™ Not according to Nick Khan.โ€
