During Sunday night’s 2025 WWE NXT Heatwave Premium Live Event (PLE), NXT General Manager Ava made a significant announcement: the WWE Speed Championships will now be a part of the NXT brand and will be defended on the show moving forward.

Additionally, it was revealed that the NXT Halloween Havoc PLE will take place on Saturday, October 25th, in Prescott Valley, Arizona.

The NXT No Mercy event is scheduled for Saturday, September 27th, at the War Memorial Auditorium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Tickets for both shows will go on sale this Wednesday, with a pre-sale starting on Tuesday.

WWE also announced that they will be returning to Full Sail University, the brand’s former home, for a Homecoming show on Tuesday, September 16th. Full Sail University hosted NXT events for eight years before NXT moved to the WWE Performance Center in 2020. This will be NXT’s first event at Full Sail since NXT TakeOver XXX in August of that year.

According to PWInsider.com, a December NXT PLE is also anticipated, with NXT planning to hold approximately eight PLEs each year.
