A familiar face to IMPACT Wrestling fans was behind-the-scenes at night one of WWE NXT Halloween Havoc 2023 on Tuesday night at the Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, Florida.
Killer Kelly, one-half of the IMPACT Knockouts Tag-Team Champions, was backstage with her longtime friend Lyra Valkyria to celebrate her NXT Women’s Championship victory over Becky Lynch in the main event of the show.
“Proud is an understatement,” Kelly wrote in a post via her Twitter (X) page that included photos of the two celebrating her win with the title after the show ended. “From wrestling each other in Ireland, outside, freezing cold, on a ring with no pads for 20 minutes, to watch her defeat Becky Lynch to become the NEW NXT Women’s Champion.”
She continued, “She deserves the world. I love you Lyra Valkyria,” to which Valkyria responded, “I love you.”
